Jazz talk and free concerts in the Jazzbox

In addition to our regular festival programme, we also have free concerts, including in the Jazzbox. Here, students, semi-professionals and amateurs get the opportunity to play for a wide audience. Watch out, tomorrow's jazz stars can be found here! In the past, artists such as Fieh, Frøy, Bendik Baksaas and Hilde Marie Holsen have played on our free stage. There is an age limit on the daytime concerts at the Jazzbox (until 20:00 p.m.).

Jazz talk

Every day from Thursday to Saturday at 12.00, the Jazzbox is visited by Audun Vinger and Filip Roshauw from the magazine Jazz news popular Friday blog "Now's The Time", which can be experienced live for the occasion. Here they talk about loose and fixed, do interviews with relevant musicians. Moskus, Petter Wettre, Eirik Hegdal, Særingfest and many others stop by during the week. A perfect start to the festival day!
