Train and bus

We recommend that everyone use public transport during the jazz festival. This way you can plan well and enjoy the music without stress and worries. Everything is practically within walking distance of Kongsberg station, the hub for both trains and buses.

As of 01.01.26, there is NO work planned on the R12 train route (Eidsvoll-Gardermoen-Kongsberg, both directions). This means that all visitors this year will not be taking the bus for the train, as has been the case in recent years.

Night buses 2026:

We have extra bus services both in the direction of Drammen/Oslo, Notodden and locally in the Kongsberg region.

Extra night buses from Kongsberg in the direction of Drammen and Oslo:
Night buses have been set up on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night, in collaboration with VY. The offer is already visible in the VY app and on VY's website.
