Vacant position as marketing manager (temporary)
We are looking for an independent, strategic and committed marketing manager!
You must have the ability to see the whole and coherence, think new things and set the course for new projects.
As a festival employee, you must be able to take initiative, cope with a fast pace and long days at times. You must be able to work independently.
What will you be working on?
- Lead and coordinate projects
- Responsibility for sales strategy, marketing plan, budgets, results and reporting
- External and internal communication in various channels (newsletter, social media, app, press releases/follow-up press). This includes that you must be able to communicate very well in writing in both Norwegian and English.
- Editor for websites
- Plan the festival's marketing work in collaboration with the festival manager and the media group
- Production of marketing material, advertisements and sales articles in collaboration with a communications agency
- Responsible for the festival's ticket system
- Responsibility for the festival stalls
- Various project management/project work related to events, volunteers etc.
- You must be eager to take on other tasks in the festival as needed
Desired experience and education
- Relevant higher education
- Experience from a similar position within marketing
- Interest and knowledge of digital marketing
- Experience from festivals, which means that you also have to be a bit handy
- Experience and network preferably within cultural life
- Be interested in jazz/music
- Have some creamery instinct and commercial flair
- Basic image processing and graphic design skills

Duration of the position:
- Joining at the first opportunity and preferably by 1 January 2021
- Duration until July 2022.
- Possibility of extension of commitment
- The tasks may change somewhat along the way
