I probably had the shortest path into jazz ever. Across the hall and straight ahead, she smiles
Snesja works on a daily basis as a cinema consultant for Kongsberg Kino and is based at Kirketorget in the same offices as Jazzen. There have been many lunches with jazz talk, and my curiosity finally got the better of me, she says. She now steps into the role of new group leader for the sponsor group.
I'm looking forward to it, it's always exciting to take on new tasks and not least the responsibility, but fortunately there are many who have been involved for several years who give their experience. Now, together with other clerks, I will look after our partners and arrange experiences in the various arenas. The festival, with its bustling folk life and atmosphere, provides a fantastic setting for such events, she says.
Snesja brings many years of experience from the travel and service industry to the festival. She has, among other things, worked at Quality Grand Hotell Kongsberg for many years. I am passionate about giving people that little something extra, these are the experiences people pass on to friends and acquaintances. Creating something together with others and being part of something bigger is incredibly rewarding, and the voluntary apparatus of jazz is a magical community that I am very much looking forward to being a part of. This will be a new adventure for me and I am betting that I will come out of it cast in gold, smiles Snesja.
