I really like it! Today is the day itself

- No pop star could have had it better than me right now!

- Right now I'm having an incredible time! Just before I was going to go up and stand backstage and wait, I was really worried. Almost thought I was going to lose my voice and everything... I stood wondering what the song I had chosen was called... and what were the lyrics like again? But when I went on stage, it just felt right fantastic! Eirinn Helene Rugaas Flatland (11) is one of those who take on the challenge the first time Barnivalen organizes Live Karaoke for Kids.

Now the stage is ready and I take the microphone
A thousand eyes shine upon me

In brilliant sunshine, it breaks loose. Amalie Skjolde Helmriksen (7) throws herself into it and joins in Silly and Delicious to full cheers. Speaker and band leader Marius Gjersø introduces the singers with infectious enthusiasm and Dancefloor Magnet plays. The immersion on stage and the atmosphere among the audience are in no way inferior to other concerts at the festival.

When Thomas Brath (10) nails it with his fantastic version of Uptown funk It is impossible not to get carried away. Sofia Hesjedal, Sunniva Schnell and Nora Bråten-Martinsen interpret shake it off with tough moves in his elegant trio. Then it's time for Eirinn who gives her version of I really like you to great excitement.

Feels like it's tingling, which spreads from the stomach
Now the dreams will be allowed to run free, because today is the day itself

After the performance, the artist is brilliantly happy and grateful for the reception. - I saw that my friends Ugne and Irmelin stood in front and cheered when my name was called out, it really supported me.

Eirinn comes from a musical family with, among other things, a father who plays in a band and sings, a mother who sings, an aunt who plays the piano and works with a choir, and she herself plays the piano and is in the Kongsberg church's children's choir. She doesn't have one clear favorite artist, but listens to a lot of different things. They got the idea to sign up just a week ago when dad discovered that the festival was going to have live karaoke.

Although Eirinn has been on stage before, she has never tried exactly like here, where there is a really proper and big stage, as she says, outdoors, and not least, where it is have an updated who is the vocalist and the star. Eirinn smiles behind her sunglasses and exhales backstage. - I think no pop star in the whole world could have had it better than me right now.
