Hello Private Bar!
Privat Bar opened as a small cocktail bar in 2006. Since then, in addition to our delicious cocktails, we have also developed into one of the city's best nightclubs, with our own Gastropub, Sports bar, nightclub and stage.
What is their focus at the moment, do we have anything new to look forward to?
We are constantly developing in an industry that is "fresh produce". Times change and one must be adaptable. Many new trends that must be followed up in order to maintain a competitive place. But we always focus on the basic principles which are perhaps the most important for everyone in the service industry; namely high quality of product, service and atmosphere. What we are looking forward to right now is the collaboration with Kongsbergjazz in 2019.

What does Kongsberg Jazz mean to you?
Kongsberg Jazz means a lot to many people, and we are no exception. We are very happy to be able to challenge ourselves these days, and deliver top quality even in these hectic times. Kongsberg Jazz Festival has always been a highlight for us.
What are you most looking forward to experiencing during this year's festival?
Folkefest without a doubt.
There are many who deserve a pat on the back. But in this case and according to the festival, I have to go for Kongsberg Municipality, which has been open-minded and given the passionate people in Kongsbergjazz the opportunity to flourish. It has created a folk life for generations that Kongsberg takes great pleasure in, and a reputation that is unique among festivals.
