Kongsberg Jazzweekend minute by minute.

Usually we meet at this time to evaluate this year's festival, but this year it was different, says group leader for media, Ingvild Støa Skrede.
20 group leaders gathered at Tyrifjord Hotell to plan Kongsberg Jazzweekend in November. It was incredibly nice to meet physically again, there have been many meetings on Zoom, but it cannot replace it here, she continues. We are like a big family who haven't seen each other for a long time, so this was long-awaited, says Ingvild.

This weekend we have planned the Kongsberg Jazzweekend minute by minute, says project manager of the Kongsberg Jazz Festival Celina Stokes. Even if it will not be a festival in the usual format, an incredible amount has to happen in a short time at 6 different venues, it requires careful planning, in addition there will be other challenges that require time and focus, such as infection control, says Celina.

Now everyone has to buy tickets in advance and we will not have the typical sales booths. The sales group is therefore hosting with a particular focus on infection control, says head of the sales group Mona Sanden Olivier.
Infection prevention routines have been drawn up for Jazzweekend which will look after the audience, musicians and volunteers and be able to contribute to possible infection tracing should the need arise. All volunteers must go through infection control training before the Jazz weekend. In addition, of course, existing infection control routines at the individual venue apply.
This is going to be so good, fantastic artists will finally meet the public again in a safe environment. We will warm the people with jazz experiences, in the cold good time, 20-22 November, concludes Stokes.
