BERNHOFT & THE FASHION BRUISES

The phenomenon Jarle Bernhoft is back with a new album and with his regular band, The Fashion Bruises

Bernhoft undoubtedly has the ability to excite the public, which we experienced most recently in 2014 when he last visited the Kongsberg Jazz Festival in front of a packed audience at Kirketorget. If Bernhoft has a program statement, it is that he wants to make people dance and think at the same time. This also applies to the highest extent to the album "Humanoid", which was released in August 2018 together with his permanent band.

HELL BILLY'S

Hellbilli's year 2019 is thus better than ever

Hellbillies - one of Norway's most successful bands - embark on a new tour. Or is that what they actually do? With more than 1700 concerts during their currently 28-year existence, the band has driven up and down through "a slightly too long country" more and further than most. They have practically never stopped. With this, we can agree that Hellbillies have earned a well-deserved status as one of the country's very best live bands.

OLE BØRUD

No one who has followed "Stjernekamp" this autumn can have avoided noticing the far from silent crowd of supporters in the hall when Ole Børud enters the stage

Børud was last seen through his participation in NRK's popular television programme, Stjernekamp. In his musical background, Børud has touched a large audience in several genres, which he proved greatly during his participation in Stjernekamp. Vise, blues, EDM and opera are some of the genres that brought Børud to a solid third place and into several Norwegian homes.

ADAM DOUGLAS WITH HANNE BOEL

An evening filled with soul, blues and jazz. Hanne Boel hosts Adam Douglas at Gamle Norge during this year's festival.

Adam Douglas is the "unknown" winner of Stjernekamp. But far from unknown among those interested in blues and soul. It is said that he has gambled at every brownie in the land. He himself says that he has played "endel". He's understating. He says he is "quite into guitar", while those who have heard him play will claim he is among the best in the country. In many ways, we can define Adam as an un-American Norwegian.

Now Norway is waiting for Adam and he couldn't be more ready. We are very much looking forward to seeing him during this year's festival at Kongsberg together with one of Denmark's biggest stars, Hanne Boel.
