FREE, FRESH AND FREE 1

The field is a very special venue. Small, intimate and with a very special atmosphere. Both because of its size and its nature, the music offer here is relatively "narrow". At least it's not for those who want to sing along to the chorus! But for the audience who wants to experience something different, something fresh and perhaps a bit challenging, the concerts at Åkern are small oases of experience. This year's concerts should also be fresh ideas for most people with fairly open senses.

Thursday is coming Hilde Marie Holsen with his trumpet. Using electronics, she builds layer upon layer into calm (or troubled!) soundscapes that create associations and images in the listener. While Hilde Marie Holsen is relatively new to the experimental music scene, is Ikue Mori a true veteran. On Friday, she takes over Åkern with her electronics. She is a central artist in the experimental environment, not only in New York where she lives, but to a large extent in the international environment as well.
