The Swedish Berlin-based saxophonist Otis Sandsjö, initiator and mastermind behind the band Y-OTIS, brings with him the sound of his own distinctive genre-crossing, forward-thinking liquid jazz.

Y-OTIS' musical expression is described as a sound mosaic og a fusion of fragments from hip hop, electronica and jazz. With choppy hip hop-inspired rhythms, atmospheric sound collages and melodic sax riffs, a funky musical universe is created that hits a playful nerve.

The acclaimed self-titled debut album came in 2018, followed by Y-OTIS 2 (2020) and Y-OTIS TRE (2024). All three released on the respected Finnish record label We Jazz Records, masterfully and playfully put together by Sandsjö and producer/bassist Peter EldhIn addition to Sandsjö and Eldh, the audience will experience Dan Nicholls on keyboards and Jamie Peet on drums.

Otis Sandsjö – saxophone
Petter Eldh – bass & synth
