The Northern Irish artist with the distinctive voice has had an impressive career dating back to the 1960s. Both his songs and records are today considered classics when the history of popular music is to be summed up.
With hits such as Brown-Eyed Girl, Moondance, Gloria and Wild Night, Van Morrison's music has become everyone's property, and he has built up a large and dedicated fan base. Van Morrison is an artist many people have a fond relationship with.
Van Morrison's voice only gets better and better over the years, according to a two-year-old concert review from Dagbladet that rolled a six. Morrison, who turns 70 this summer, is visiting Norway on a mission this year to play at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival on 3 July.
Van Morrison is undoubtedly considered one of music history's great icons, and finally we get to see him at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival!
After a longer break from the limelight, Noora Noor performs her first concert in over two years at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, as the first part of a double concert with Van Morrison.
Noora Noor has been a well-known figure in Norwegian music since the end of the 90s with several album releases and radio hits. Her third release "Soul Deep" marked a clear shift in style for Noora Noor. She wanted to make albums that were more suited to the artist she was live and that reflected the live expression. Noora went to the USA and recorded the album "Soul Deep", which resulted in the Spellemannpris for Best Female Artist in spring 2010.
We are looking forward to a long-awaited reunion with Norway's best soul voice!
