Valkyrie Allstars
The audience favorites Valkyrien Allstars have, since their inception in 2005, been a breath of fresh air in the Norwegian musical flora with their unique sound in the gray zone between the traditional and the modern.
Valkyrien Allstars is currently current with the album "Farewell family and friends" - a record that was rewarded with high dice rolls and a nomination for the Spellemannpris in the folk music category. The album, which is the band's fourth release, was created with jazz musician Bugge Wesseltoft as co-producer.
The audience can look forward to hearing a good mix of the band's self-composed tunes, Harding fiddle beats and old shilling tunes when they take the stage in Christian's basement. With Tuva Livsdatter Syvertsen and Erik Sollid at the front, the band conveys direct and honest music.
