Töddel
After a successful Norwegian tour this winter, Töddel is in the process of establishing itself as a young and up-and-coming trio on the Norwegian jazz scene. With the unorthodox line-up consisting of two guitars and drums, the trio experiments with a soundscape that emphasizes the melodic and beautiful, with a great focus on collective improvisation that is mostly located within tonal and rhythmic frameworks. The music is written by all three musicians. This results in great variation and the music moves from clearly rhythmic parts to arrhythmic timbres. Despite their age, the musicians have extensive experience from both the jazz and pop scene in Denmark and abroad, and they bring that experience with them into the jazz trio format.
