Swing'it Dixieband - Norway's hippest and freshest gla'jazz band - has in the last two years created a shameless atmosphere at everything from jazz clubs, parades and nightclubs to festivals and as street musicians. They do a great job of entertaining young and old alike with charm, fun and enthusiasm! In addition to playing old traditional songs, they also play a lot of well-known children's songs and Disney songs with their own distinctive character and interpretation, served with straw hats, crossbows and lots of energy! They also write catchy and jovial songs with witty lyrics and wit.

They have played at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival before, and now they are coming back and playing in Festivalgata on Thursday and Friday!
