Catchy and entertaining happy jazz when Swing'it plays its 100th concert at Kongsberg Jazz Festival!
Swing'it takes the audience on a journey 100 years back in time and across the Atlantic to 1920s New Orleans with lyrics and stories about the origins of jazz and the Roaring 20s; the glitz, glamour and extravagant parties of the Great Gatsby; and speakeasies and secret parties during the Prohibition era with the optimism and decadence of a bygone era.
The band, who came in third place in Melodi Grand Prix 2023, plays catchy and entertaining happy jazz, and has become known throughout Europe as a fantastic live band with a guaranteed atmosphere. If you have been to Kongsberg, it is impossible not to have seen the happy group with straw hats creating an atmosphere in the city.
Swing'it has just returned from a European tour with over 7000 tickets sold and is now embarking on a Norwegian tour with Kongsberg Jazz Festival as the first stop! Get out your dancing shoes and join us back in 1925! This will be a wonderful experience in the backyard of Old Norway!
