Two of the leading names in Norwegian music life will be responsible for the closing of this year's festival on Saturday evening at Kirketorget: Susanne Sundfør and Karpe Diem!
Susanne Sundför is one of the most distinctive artists we have in the country today - and is definitely in a class of his own. In the past year, she has won big in the number of awards and high dice rolls for both her record releases and her live performances. Among other things, she took home a total of three fiddler's awards during this year's awards for producer, pop soloist and album of the year. Sundfør's ongoing tour is sold out across the board and the tour's opening concert received a six from Stavanger Aftenblad. We are looking forward to Sundfør magic at Kirketorget!
Karpe Diem has been a quality supplier of catchy and engaging hits, and has really left its mark on the Norwegian musical flora. With songs such as "Påfugl", "Tusen dejningen" and "Toyota'n til Magdi", Karpe Diem has achieved a very special place in the Norwegian folk soul.
