Big band party!
On Saturday morning, the festival invites you to a real big band party. Two driving big bands will create atmosphere outside Gamle Norge. The skilled and very popular Kongsberg Big Band is of course in place. Again, it will delight us with swinging and fresh music.
In addition to good soloists in their own ranks, on this one occasion they have with them the ten-year-old singing sensation angelina Jordan! After appearing on American television recently, she is already on her way to becoming an international name.
But there will be more! The good-sounding and hard-swinging big band Jazzy completes the party. Jazzå is also well supplied with soloists, but they also have a guest with them, none other than Dear Nymark, one of the country's finest trumpeters.
