Catchy folk rock from Valdres!
There aren't many bands like Staut in Norway!
With the combination of catchy melodies, strong and good lyrics, extremely talented musicians and not least a tremendous drive and energy on stage, the band from Valdres has grown to become one of the absolute leaders in their genre. Their music is best described as a combination of folk, rock and country, and that's when it gets really fun!
The albums MAKALAUS (2019) and LETT Å VÆRE KØDD (2023), have given the band both gold records and number one on the album chart to show for it, as well as a tour list that has lasted for several years and a number of concerts that few other bands in Norway can match. There have been large and high-profile TV appearances, a solid number of radio listings, and not least: quality all the way.
