Stokk & Stein made their debut in an old living room in autumn 2014. Since then, the trio has spread the musical message in a number of places, and the message is; it should sound fat, it should be pushed, it should groove. The music takes strong inspiration from bands such as the John Scofield trio, The Thing, and Cortex and is described as a good mix of groove-based music with a free jazz expression.
