The premiere of a new and expectant constellation: Heida Mobeck and Anja Lauvdal in the duo SKRAP meet the English drummer Steve Noble.
In the duo SKRAP we meet two of the most exciting musicians in today’s Norwegian music scene. Heida Karine Johannisdottir Mobeck is primarily tubaist, but also contributes to various sound effects. Anja Lauvdal plays the piano and synth. SKRAP is primarily an arena for imaginative improvisation. Here you’ll find jazz, rock, noise, impro and folk music, all crystallized in a highly personal expression. At the end of the jazz festival, they will perform together with the English drummer Steve Noble. He is a well known improvisation musician who has been inspired by many kinds of musical genres. He has played with great names like John Edwards, Derek Bailey, Joe McPhee and Peter Brötzmann. Now for the first time he will meet two of Norway’s most creative improvisers.
