Skadedyr is undoubtedly one of the freshest bands to appear on the Norwegian music scene in recent years. Twelve exceptionally talented musicians have come together to create a band that doesn't sound like any other band, that has its own highly personal and uncompromising profile.
The musicians in Skadedyr are all involved in many different bands (e.g. Susanna & Jenny Hval, Broen, Moskus, Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, etc.), and they bring this diversity with them into Skadedyr. An instrumentation consisting of a brass section, keyboards, guitars, two drummers, vocals, strings and accordion invites a varied expression, which is often temperamental and energetic, but which can also calm down into gentler waters. A concert with Skadedyr is eventful. The audience will be thrust into their laps with a genre mix they have hardly heard the likes of. It is not without reason that Skadedyr has acquired a well-deserved reputation as a terrific live band!
