Kongsberg Storband is an institution in our city – an ensemble that is constantly evolving and never afraid to challenge itself through new collaborations. This time they are joined by one of Norway's most explosive live artists.
If there is is known for a stage presence that both impresses and charms. With roots in soul, funk, rock and pop – and a voice and energy that elevates everything she is a part of – she has built a reputation through hundreds of concerts as an artist you must experience live. Her music is organic, playful and full of energy, drawing inspiration from decades of musical history.
When this meeting takes place together with a big band in top form, everything is in place for a concert that both sways, surprises and brings the audience together. Here you get both punch, warmth and joy of playing – delivered with an energy that spreads far beyond the edge of the stage.
This is a concert that is just as suitable for those who love jazz as for those who just want to start the festival day with a really good live experience.
