Serendip: Live Sollid
Serendip is the Norwegian Academy of Music's own jazz festival - they showcase the latest and hottest happenings in student circles at the moment!

Live Sollid is a vocalist, songwriter and composer. She is active in several different musical projects, usually together with her beloved live electronics, and has been in everything from prog rock to noise to reindeer pop. This year she will, among other things, release a record with the bands Fervent Mind and Tobis World, in addition to releasing a single with her solo project.
Her minimalist songs are performed as outliers in an otherwise open and occasionally ambient landscape. Alone on stage with a bunch of knobs and faders, she takes us into a captivating sound world. She is inspired by artists such as Jon Hopkins, Elliott Smith, Radiohead and Steven Wilson.
The single "My Empty Apartment" was released on 1 April 2017. It was played on Ruben on P3 and Stjernepose on P13, among others. Ny Musikk Hver Dag referred to it as "Minimalist pop done in an exquisite way".
The song "Temporary" has been recommended by the student magazine STOFF and P3 Urørt.
