Funderud Trio is a guitar trio that combines elements from jazz and rock with a focus on improvisation. The members have backgrounds from rock, pop, standard jazz and bands, and this creates varied music with groove and energy interspersed with lyrical parts. When the band creates music, they have the power trios of the 60s in mind, as well as drawing inspiration from modern jazz music.
