There will be soul, jazz and a lovely backyard atmosphere when the duo Rohey Taalah and Martin Myhre Olsen take over Privat Bar in an untraditional duo format!
The two award-winning musicians have both made a name for themselves in projects such as Gurls, Hegge, Wako and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra in recent years, and are always a joy to experience live!
The collaboration arose from a desire to explore the close connection between vocals and saxophone, and how one can creatively create a complete soundscape with this instrumentation. They will present songs by, among others, Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell and Laura Mvula in addition to well-known jazz standards. Perfect this Saturday afternoon!
