Reshemhea
Hardingfiddle over the Mississippi

Resjemheia sounds as if Telemark, Mississippi and West Africa have ended up at the same party in the mountains.
With Hardanger fiddle, bass guitar and drums, the trio creates a raw, hypnotic and boundless expression where traditional melodies meet blues, rock and heavy grooves. The result is both deeply rooted and completely unpredictable – just the way we like it at Christians Kjeller.
Since their inception in 2010, Resjemheia has built a musical universe all their own, with tours in both Norway and Europe and five album releases behind them. The band moves seamlessly between folk music, improvisation, desert blues and driving rock, without losing their footing in their own distinctive style.
"Resjemheia is a trio of fiddlers who meet and thrive across many things. Oh my God, how tough it sounds!", wrote Nettavisen.
This summer evening at Christians Kjeller, everything is in place for an intense concert experience with drive, nerves and massive joy of playing.
