Straume provides films as diverse as To a stranger og Music for weddings and funerals new life in a postmodern patchwork in the spirit of the Soviet montage film - interspersed with small glimpses of everyday life at the editing table.
Nils Petter Molvær's compositions contribute to a fleeting narrative feeling holistic and melodious, almost dancing. remake.me visualizes the filmmaker's personal journey through time with a camera that constantly films from buses, trains and planes, but which has stylish stops such as an unforgettable exchange of lines from Thrane's method.
