For three decades, the Real Ones have impressed as a fantastic live band!
The 5 childhood friends from Bergen started it all as a purely folk music band, and as a result of a constant search for new expressions, the ensemble has since then developed into one of Norway's most distinctive bands at the crossroads between folk, pop and rock, with clear references to world music and electronica. Along the way, they have also picked up a couple of Spellemann awards.
Whether it has been in front of thousands of people in China, at a cricket club in India, or at hipster clubs in London, has Real Ones a special ability to excite his audience and leave behind dedicated and smiling fans. The reason for this is probably that the music is both distinctive and original, reflects a wide range of expressions and traditions, and that the performances are of the highest class.
The band's acclaimed album about the nature and climate crisis, LOVE YOUR MOTHER, referred to as et lovely piece of folk rock, was released in 2023. Now working Real Ones and producer Matias Tellez with his fourteenth album, and we can't wait to hear the result of this in autumn 2025!
From Svalbard to Yukon to Shanghai to Calcutta to Brussels to New York, and now to Kongsberg Jazzfestival and Christians Kjeller, where they will spread love and sunshine!
