There is always both excitement and expectations that characterize the people when the Kongbserg Jazz Festival's major musician prize, the DNB prize, is to be awarded. The price is NOK. NOK 300 and has as its stated objective to be Norway's largest and most important prize in the jazz field. It is awarded to a prominent musician who has established himself in the Norwegian jazz milieu.
As always, the award ceremony is framed by lively notes, and this year the music is provided by a big band made up of young talents from all over the world! The JM Jazz World Orchestra Big Band is under the direction of Erlend Skomsvoll, and this will be a concert that will sparkle with talent!
