TØNES
One of the country's best and most quirky songwriters and lyricists is coming to the Poetry Oasis in Christian's basement.

Tønes' real name is Frank Tønnesen, comes from the small place Sokndal in Rogaland and is one of the country's best and most quirky songwriters and lyricists. In the lyrics, he uses Sokndal dialect and tells witty and humorous stories about small and big things.
Tønes' list of achievements is gradually beginning to grow. He has released eight albums, four EPs and written his own book. He has won the Prøysen prize, the Dialect prize and four Spellemann prizes (three of them in the category Vise and one for Copywriter).
At the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, the audience can hear Tønes in a duo with Erlend Aasland.
NB. Come early for good seats. The doors open one hour before the start of the concert.
