Aasne Linnestå - (b. 1963) is a poet, novelist, librettist and playwright. Raised in Rjukan and living in Svartskog. Aasne has written five poetry collections, five novels and a one-act play (performed at the Contemporary Festival in Oslo in 2005). She has also written three librettos for composer Maja Ratkje, commissioned works performed during Nordland Musikkfestuke, Olavsfestdagene in Trondheim, Trondheim Chamber Music Festival 2015 and the Ultima Festival in 2017. A number of poems and other short texts have been published in both Norwegian and Scandinavian journals and anthologies.
Amalie Kasin Lerstang - (b. 1988) is a Norwegian writer and editor in the cultural magazine Fanfare. She grew up in Notodden. For his debut novel Europe she received the Tarjei Vesaa debutante prize in 2014. After this, she has published collections of poems that both thematize the labor movement and the women's struggle.
Henning Bergsvåg – (b. 1974) His poetry is characterized by a cool aesthetic and a strong awareness of language, and is oriented towards contemporary French and Swedish voices. He has been translated into French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Dutch and Chinese in various journals and anthologies. Already when Bergsvåg debuted in autumn 2000 with the poetry collection Newfoundland, he was, together with Tomas Espedal, one of the driving forces behind the Bergen International Poetry Festival, and he has since run extensive media activities, which have created new meeting places and environments for those interested in literature.
Maria Dorothea Schrattenholz – (b. 1980) is from Bergen and debuted in 2015 with the collection of poems Atlas point. For this, she was nominated for Tarjei Vesaas' debutante award. In 2021, her second poetry collection came out protosoul, a collection of poems with a science fiction feel, which thematises illness, grief and dissolution in a beautiful, corporeal, feverish and contrasting language.
Karoline Brændjord – (b. 1990) lives in Oslo. I want to wake up to the world came out in 2020 and is her first poetry collection. The book was awarded the Kritikerprisen 2020 and Tarjei Vesaas' debutant prize 2020, as well as being named the Literature Festival Æ Å's favorite lyric debutant 2019-2020.
