In recent years, Petters Jazzjam has become an institution in the environment around NTNU Jazzlinja in Trondheim, with a reputation for creating wild parties and wild situations based on humour, great joy of playing and real-time generation (some call it improvisation) at a high level!

The jam has succeeded in hitting a nerve in the audience on three occasions at Jazzfest in Trondheim and on two occasions at Voss. Petter's Festjam really hit a party nerve in the Vossa Jazz audience last year, when they played on their own reopening day, 25 September. Now the party jam is coming to Kongsberg, and Petter Dalane's team includes the fabulous Sun Mi Hong, the extraordinary Anders Hjemmen and the self-proclaimed jazz phantom ____.
