Petters festjam med John Pål Inderberg
We love Petter's party jam! High temperature, open frameworks and free-flowing improvisation – from musicians who love playing together!

Petters Jazzjam started in a small book bar in Trondheim in 2017, and after eight years and ten times as many jams, the name has become synonymous with playing pleasure, partying and musical quality.
In addition to regular events in Trondheim and Oslo, Petters Jazzjam has been featured at jazz festivals across the country. The list of celebrity guests includes Knut Riisnæs, Eirik Hegdal, Atle Nymo, Kirsti Huke, Sissel Vera Pettersen and Sun Mi Hong, and not least the great John Pål Inderberg who is joining us for the seventh time this year!
John Pål Inderberg is a living legend who has left his mark on Norwegian jazz since the early 70s, both as a performer and as an educator. Inderberg has played with international greats such as Lee Konitz, Chick Corea, Chet Baker and Jim Hall, as well as most Norwegian jazz musicians. He has a characteristic and personal playing style that combines influences from cool jazz and Trøndelag folk music, and in his 75th year he is more active and sought after on the concert front than ever in both his own and other people's projects. (Don't miss Inderberg with Jan Eric Vold in Kongsberg Church earlier this evening!)
Host and pianist Petter Dalane is usually heard with his own bands Cosmic Swing Orchestra and Petter Dalane Quintet, and this spring released his second album, "Zikksakk" with the latter. He is also active with the salsa band Ambos Mundos and the rock band Rat Talk, who also released their debut album this spring. During the Trondheim Jazz Festival 2023, he was awarded the NTNU Ambassador award for his work as a musician.
