Parade workshop

Kongsberg is known for cultivating many talented musicians, and we believe that the jazz festival and the workshop are an important reason for this. The parade workshop ends with the jazz festival's opening parade on Wednesday 1 July. At the workshop, the emphasis is on working by ear - i.e. without notes. The instructors will also give lessons in improvisation to many of the participants.

Instructors

All the instructors are experienced musicians who participate in a number of renowned bands and musical projects. All also have extensive experience as instructors on various courses and in the context of cultural schools.

Instructors at the parade workshop are: Kåre Nymark Jr. (trumpet) Even Kruse Skatrud (trombone) David Gald (tuba), Kenneth Ekornes (percussion)

REGISTRATION

Register for the workshop today by email: workshop@kongsbergjazz.no. In the registration, you write:

– name and age

– instrument

- how long you have been playing

- which corps/cultural school you may belong to

- which group you sign up for

- name, e-mail and telephone of guardian

PARADE WORKSHOP

Parade workshop is suitable for those who have played for two years or more - age group from 10 years and upwards. The workshop runs from Monday 4 July and ends with a parade in the afternoon on Wednesday 6 July. We are open from 09.30:16.00 a.m. to 7 every day. Attendance at Vestsiden secondary school, Boecksgate XNUMX, Kongsberg.
