PARADE WORKSHOP 2.-4. July 2018
Workshop at Kongsberg Jazz Festival is organized this year from 2-4. July, and once again the city will be turned upside down! Kongsberg is known for cultivating many talented musicians, and we believe that the jazz festival and the workshop are an important reason for this. The parade and band workshop are organized in collaboration with Kongsberg Cultural School.
At the Parade and Band Workshop, emphasis is placed on working by ear - that is, without sheet music. The instructors will also teach improvisation. The workshops end with the jazz festival's opening parade, and/or a concert on one of the festival's outdoor stages.
All the instructors are experienced musicians who participate in a number of renowned bands and musical projects. All also have national experience as instructors on various courses and in cultural contexts.
The workshops receive support from Glitre Energi's Energy Support.

On Wednesday there will be a Jazz Parade from approx. 15-16

NOK 700 per participant // 30% discount for siblings. The price includes lunch all days and a festival shirt.
