Ola Kvernberg – Steamdome
The Steamdome guarantees a steamy hot end to this year's festival!

Steamdome is pure percussive music that is progressive and brutally rushing forward like a runaway train. The music is life-affirming, surreal and can evoke associations with Sergio Leone's famous spaghetti westerns. Steamdome steams with visual energy and suggestive rhythms.
The band debuted at Moldejazz and Trondheim Jazzfestival in 2016 and released their self-titled first album just before Christmas. Rarely has an instrumental album like this received such wide recognition from the music press - in all genres. The album is also nominated for Spellemann in the Open class category.
The locomotive Steamdome is propelled forward by seven musicians plucked from the top shelf with no less than three drummers at the front:
Erik Nylander (drums), Børge Fjordheim (drums), Martin Windstad (percussion), Nikolai Hængsle Eilertsen (bass), Alexander Pettersen (guitars), Daniel Buner Formo (organ), Ola Kvernberg (fiddle, viola etc.), Tor Breivik ( sound), Ingrid Skanke Høsøien (light)
NB! Standing room only. The doors open at 23.30 p.m.
