Møster! have recently released their 6th album, Springs, four years after being critically acclaimed and nominated for Spellemann DUST BREATHING (2020). Technician and producer Jørgen Træen have been given great artistic freedom, the result is a soundscape that spectacularly, uniquely and vividly reproduces the band's various musical personalities. The doors open to a jungle of details to get lost in.
With a background from an impressively wide range of bands and musical directions, i.a. Motorpsycho, Elephant9, Röyksopp & Robyn, The End, Deathprod, Spidergawd and Bjella, the band finds itself musically between the genres in the very best way. Instantly rhythmically driving and magnificently cinematic. Melodious and experimental. Airy and leaden. The sonic connections between the sources of inspiration, and the seamless reshaping of them, gives Møster! a completely unique band expression.
The band has played at everything from Øya to the Henie-Onstad Art Centre, and a bunch of jazz clubs. In connection with last autumn's album release tour, they have lifted the roof at clubs in Norway and Europe. When they come back to Energimølla, they are in the right place, because this is where it all started when they played their very first concert in 2010. Møster! have, after six releases, built a large catalog of strong songs, and when they play live, these songs are used as fuel for an intergalactic musical journey that you just have to throw yourself into. Here, there will be energetically organized improv at a high level!
