Maya Vik
– night concert with pulse, sweaty bass lines and 80s funk

There is something very special about the concerts that start just before midnight at Energimølla. After a festival day full of wonderful impressions, you know exactly where and how the evening will end. Your shoulders drop, and you are ready to feel the bass hit where it should. Maya Vik is an artist who owns just such evenings!

As a bassist, vocalist and songwriter, Maya Vik has built an expression where the 80s funk, 90's R&B and modern club energy meets with musical weight and precision.
Before her solo career, she made a strong mark as a bassist in her own bands such as Furia og Climb – and she has played with SavoyWith Montée she won Spellemann Prize, and she took both her pop flair and understanding of groove further into her own project.
As a solo artist, she has released several critically acclaimed albums, most recently HUSTLEBOT (2024), and more recently the EP BABY BOO (2025). She has toured internationally, shared the stage with Dam Funk og Lenny Kravitz, and the collaboration with Lindstrom, Kossisko og Morgan Phalen (Justice). The song "CNB (Cold Norwegian Babe)" from HUSTLEBOT was used in the iconic The Pirelli Calendar.
It is this combination – uncompromising musicality and pure playing pleasure – that makes Maya Vik unique. It is vibrant, precise and full of punch.
