Tropical house, big hits and a party night you don't want to miss
When Matoma takes over the backyard of Gamle Norge, everything is set for a late summer evening filled with dancing, energy and a festive audience close to the stage.
DJ and producer Tom Lagergren – better known as Matoma – has in just a few years become one of the biggest exports in Norwegian music. Since his breakthrough in 2015 with the remix Old Thing Back, he has delivered a number of hits and collaborated with artists such as Dua Lipa og Snoop DoggHis music – often referred to as tropical house – has amassed huge streaming figures worldwide and made him a sought-after festival artist on stages far beyond Norway's borders.
Songs like All Night, False Alarm and Running Out have given Matoma millions of monthly streams on streaming services, and an audience that shows up to dance. At the same time, he has become a well-known name here at home, including as a mentor in The Voice in 2021 and 2022 and as a participant in Every time we meet in 2024.
When he brings his energetic DJ set to our city, the audience can expect an evening where warm synths, strong melodies and pulsating rhythms lift the atmosphere in the backyard. This is set to be one of the big party nights at Gamle Norge during this year's festival.

Availability: Mainly standing space. Easily accessible outdoor area, indoor wheelchair accessible toilet with ramp access. Companion ID accepted.
