Marius Neset lives in Copenhagen and is central to the jazz scene there, but he is primarily a big name in England. After concerts and record releases there, the British jazz press has had problems varying the superlatives. Here at home, we have heard him as a key member in bands such as Jazz Kamikaze, People are Machines and perhaps especially with Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. But it is in its own quartet, Golden Xplosion he really unfolds.
