Many jazz enthusiasts know well the world-renowned American/Danish percussionist Marilyn Mazur (b. 1955). She trained as a classical pianist, but changed musical pastures in the early 1980s. Early on, she started working with the biggest - such as Miles Davis, Jan Garbarek and several others. In the film, we hear and see Marilyn create her wonderful rhythms. She talks about her relationship with music, about her own groups, Future Song and Percussion Paradise.
