Mall Girl
Mall Girl is part of the alternative pop scene in Oslo. Live, it's a mix of energy, closeness and at least 5 different time signatures.
Mall Girl has had a bunch of genres thrown at her; math pop, pink Pom Poko, time signature disco etc. One can wonder what this means, but at least there is some pop music with tapping and jazz drums.
Together they have played at festivals such as Øyafestivalen and Roskilde and in 2022 they released their debut album Superstar. Album number two, "Pure Love" is finally out in the world and this must be celebrated! Everyone likes love, and what's wilder than a 100% percent version of that??
