Door opens: 23:59 Single ticket price: NOK 445

Les Amazones d'Afrique is a unique creative force! With a wide range of inspirations, they blend pan-African elements and harmonies with rough, modern pop. The message is clearly rooted in a strong commitment to increasing the rights of girls and women.

The group was formed in Mali in 2014 by acclaimed artists Mamani Keïta, Oumou Sangaré and Mariam Doumbia (of Amadou & Mariam). Since then, the creative collective has expanded to include female artists from across Africa and the diaspora, including Angélique Kidjo, Nneka and the up-and-coming Malian artist Rokia Koné. The band sings in various West African languages, adding a rich cultural and linguistic dimension to the music.

Their latest album MUSOW DANSE (2024) is a dynamic mix of electro-pop, funk and traditional African harmoniesThe album has received rave reviews in Rolling Stone, Le Monde, BBC Radio 6 Music and several other leading media outlets, and is hailed as one of the most important pan-African albums in recent times.

The band is a perfect end to this year's festival, and we promise a spectacular night with extremely danceable music on Energimølla!
