This year marks 100 years since legendary singer Billie Holiday was born. She was a woman who lived hard and few, if any, could convey pain and emotion in a stronger way than her. In this feature film from 1972, starring Diana Ross, the dramatic life and career of the singer is depicted - who, despite drug problems and society's racial discrimination, became one of the greatest jazz singers of our time.
