Lady be good is a unique documentary film about key female jazz musicians in American jazz history. We follow the female instrumentalists and big band leaders from the early 1920s until modern times. The film consists of rare archive footage, concert footage and humorous interviews with living artists. We meet, among others: Peggy Gilbert, Marian McPartland, Carline Ray, Quincy Jones, Jane Sager and many, many more in this important film.
