The trio Krokofant plays energetic, explosive jazz-rock that feels both free and structured. With their sound firmly anchored in the 1970s, but with references to King Crimson, Soft Machine and Mahavishnu Orchestra – their music appeals to rock and free jazz lovers as well as those nostalgic for the days of jazz-rock.

Krokofant deliver turbo-charged drumming and precise, heavy riffs that form the backdrop for powerful improvisations. Long saxophone solos and creative, virtuoso guitar-playing complement the strong groove.

In this concert the band has two very special guests, both pretty much legends on their instruments: Ståle Storløkken on organ and Ingebrigt Håker Flaten on bass.
