Knut Anders Sørum
That Knut Anders Sørum is an outstanding musician and entertainer was proven once and for all when he ran away with the victory in the NRK program Stjernekamp this autumn. His great voice, communication skills and pleasant demeanor have charmed the whole of Norway.
For the past 20 years, Sørum has lived and worked as an artist, songwriter and musician. A critically acclaimed Prøysen record in 2010 was followed by a soul record in Totning dialect in 2013, which among other things led to Knut Anders Sørum warming up for Stevie Wonder at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival in 2014!
In autumn, Sørum launched his next album, also in dialect and with his own song material. This time the album was produced by legends Kjetil Bjerkstrand and Erik Hillestad. The album is described as innovative groovy pop with soul vocals.
With raw soul on tap, a brilliant band and a good mood, Knut Anders Sørum is now coming to the Kongsberg Jazz Festival!
