Jon Eberson Funk Ensemble is a new, dynamic band that unites jazz harmonies with rock 'n' roll rhythms. In addition to Jon Eberson, the band consists of his daughter Marte Maaland Eberson known from Highasakite, the veteran Pål Thowsen who has played with Eberson since the 70s, Eple Trio's Sigurd Hole and young Kim-Erik Pedersen from, among others, Off Topic. The music is located in the landscape around his former bands such as Moose Loose, Blow Out and other classic jazz rock bands from the 1970s. At the concert on Saturday night at Kongsberg, they have Paolo Vinaccia himself as their guest.
