Jazz talk Friday
Each day starts with Jazz talk from the stage, where current festival artists and other festival people are interviewed by Audun Vinger and Filip Roshauw.

Today's guests:
Pat Thomas – one of the true pillars of European free music – and possessor of one of the music world's heartiest laughs. Fantastic musician who has played at Kongsberg before. This year he has composed new music for the Kitchen Orchestra – the work is called Madad. He will also play Duke Ellington's music together with Håkon Kornstad, Ståle Liavik Solberg and Per Zanussi!
Gard Nilssen – The drummer, the musician, the bandleader and the festival favorite. We have spoken to him many times and it is always both relevant and interesting. This year he is at Kongsberg with Gard Nilssen's Supersonic Orchestra, and we look forward to hearing more about what it is like to keep order in that group, the new music and much more.
Sondre Moshagen – Norway's greatest jazz talent. At least according to the Jazzintro jury, who named him and the rest of the Lightning Trio (Kertu Aer and Steinar Heide Bø) last year's winners. This means that this brilliant trio can be seen at many of this year's jazz festivals (including Kongsberg), and they have also recorded their debut album together with Europe's biggest it-boy, Kit Downes. We look forward to chatting with Sondre in the box!
