Face painting in Kølabånnparken from 15:00 PM
The Jazz Parade will depart from Kølabånnparken at 15:30 PM.
Opening party in Festivalgata at 15:45 PM
The Jazz Parade marks the start of the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, where we invite the city's residents to join us in this year's big, colorful opening parade! This year the parade will start from Kølabånnparken and end in Festivalgata outside the Quality Grand Hotell.
Our officials will be providing fun face painting for Kølabånnparken and Flying Seagulls creates mischief and fun!
In Festivalgata there will be an official opening of Else Kåss Furuseth, musical performances by the parade band, distribution of Kongsberg Jazz Festival's Grand Musician Award and concert with Buskerud Youth Jazz Orchestra (BUJO).
After the opening party, we will continue with concerts in Festivalgata in the familiar style. This year it will be The workshop band which opens the concert series at 17:00 PM.
